It is my great pleasure to invite you all to join the 10th Annual Congress of the Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE), which will take place in Taichung, Taiwan from Oct 14 to 19, 2009.

The Congress aims at primarily facilitating the academic standard of the gynecologic endoscopy and minimally invasive therapy, and providing ample opportunity for the exchange of advanced knowledge and cutting-edge information. It also provides relationship-building opportunity between members and colleagues.

The theme of the Congress 2009 is "Most Hot Stuffs and Ultimate Advanced Technologies in Minimally Invasive Gyno-Therapy". We are ready to share with you the most updated endoscopic stuffs and state-of-the-art technologies in the field of pelvic reconstruction, oncology, reproduction and Gyno-cosmetic applications. There are also excellent live case demonstrations in minimally invasive surgery.

Taichung, the city of the Congress venue, is located in the hub of central Taiwan. The pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, rich history of art and culture, and prosperous economy supply Taichung with a glamour of a world-class metropolis. Visitors would discover a delicate mixture of modern and classic, of nature and technology, and of grandeur and simplicity. Taichung enjoys sunny weather throughout the year. It never gets too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. The bright sunshine gives Taichung a dazzling look.

The Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) reduces the traveling time between north and south of Taiwan to 90 minutes and also makes the traveling to Taichung much easier than before. In one hour time, you can reach to the mountains or enjoy yourself in the beach. It would be a great opportunity for you to experience this multifaceted culture of Taiwan.
