From Taoyuan International Airport, you can take THSR-Airport shuttle (table 1) to THSR Taoyuan Station, toward south then drop off at Taichung Station. You can choose to take a taxi to the venue and the fee is around NT$280-300, or choose a toll-free THSR shuttle (located at B1) to SOGO Department Store (table 2) and transfer to a taxi to the venue which charge around NT$100.

For Hong Kong and Ho Chih Minh members, you can choose Taichung Ching Chuang Kang International Airport. From there, you can take a taxi to arrive in the venue. It costs around NT$400.

General information of Taxi

There are many taxis on the streets of Taichung. They all have a yellow color and charge by the meter for trips within the city. Flag fall is NT$85 and is good for the first 1.5 km, after which the charge is $5 for each additional 250m or accumulated 3-min stopping. There is no need to tip the driver. You might have to pay a little more ($30~50) to use the trunk to transport your luggage. Women passengers are advised to call a taxi company for a pick-up at night for safety reasons. Most taxi drivers can NOT speak or read English, so providing the destination in Chinese characters or a map is helpful. We have prepared an English-Chinese translation form for you to communicate with the drivers or ask for directions.
