Course Description

Ultrasonography diagnosis of an intrauterine lesions has its limitations with 63% sensitivity and 89.4% specificity (K Karsdag et al, 2010), often requiring further evaluation. Hysteroscopy examination is the preferred modality used whenever ultrasonography detects a suspicious lesion.

However, simultaneous excision or removal of a lesion when detected by hysteroscopy remains an issue among gynecologic patients and doctors. Medtronic Truclear invented by Mark Hans Emanuel MD PhD. is a tissue removal system for endometrial polyps, submucous myoma, uterine septum, intrauterine adhesion or suspected endometrial malignancy. This course is suitable for clinicians with basic to advanced endoscopic skills.
